Founder, composer, bass, lap steel, electronics, synths
An experimental "ambient-noise-metal' project, equally inspired by horror film soundtracks, metal, psych, and classical composers.
The band weaves together layers of lap steel, bass, drums, synthesizers, and vocals.
Initially started as my one-woman noise project, later growing into a duo with Tim Wyskida, Insect Ark now has 10 published LPs, EPs, cassettes and singles. The latest full-length album, Raw Blood Singing, was released June 2024.
